Makan Mania!
on a lighter note, here are the fotos that i got from the nyjc website. it's makan mania! apparently i only found 3 that contains our class peeps >.<
05S5B Makan Maniacs! Funky GST and JKJK

Weifang, Huiting, Samuel
Huiting was caught taking a picture of herself and her friend... go to ny website to see for yourself HAHA. anyway, ciao! s5b rox!
The following is just some thoughts of mine which i wish to express out.
some of us i know are currently attached and are in a relationship, and naturally i understand that couples have to spend time together. but then, being overly involved in a relationship at the expense of spending time with precious friends.. to me, it is not a wise thing to do definitely. Well, it's just my opinion regarding this issue.
a balance definitely needs to be striked. friends come and go in our lives, a relationship is priceless that i cannot deny, but friends are important people in our lives as well. yet again, it's every man's decision for himself. I can only express my views, the final decision will still be in the hands of the beholder.
it's been quite some time since i had a meal with the whole class. the only one that i can recall would be the very first 05S5B mini gathering after school at the coffeeshop outside school. we still did not know each other well then, but we were able to sit down and have a simple lunch together.
Now that we know each other so much better, is it so hard to make time for a simple gathering such as this coming swensen's dinner?
I definitely don't have the right to stop people from attending their various 'businesses'. But i do know that sacrifices have to be made. I'm very sure that no matter which date we change it to, not every one will be able to make it still. As a matter of fact, most of the time, I'm able to predict who's going and who's not. Why so? It has become such a routine thing that sometimes, one doesn't even need to ask to know the answer.
and that is definitely not a good sign.
Our JC life will come to an end soon. In the blink of an eye the A levels would be over. Then, it would be even much harder to get the class together. Regret, for some would be a distant emotion, but one thing that i'm sure is, i don't wish to feel that.
Xinli's no longer in our class, but his s5b spirit still burns strong. Is it so hard to make a small sacrifice to spend time with the class, for one more time? If 05S5B isn't dear in his heart, do you think he would wanna insist that every one turn up for the nxt gathering?
I hope this post set some minds thinking. I'm trying my best to be the ct-rep that you all want me to be, but i definitely don't have the power to change people's mindsets and thinking. I have experienced the feeling of losing friends back then in secondary school. There are people whom i know that are currently in nyjc, but it seems so hard to even say hi. I want to, but something in me prevents me to.
I don't want to feel this again when i leave nyjc. That is why i want the class to stay as one. Surely if some sacrifices are made, our friendship will last a long long time. Surely if every one do their part, we'll be an even better class as a whole.

Ah! Trouble!!
I'm afraid I have to postpone the Swensens dinner due to the June holidays due to some of our comrades are unable to make it due to sad events and tuitions.
The Swensens Vouchers are for the class!
I cannot be unfair and leave out anyone especially Jolene who was unable to share the prize with us the previous time. Plus I hope the vouchers can be used to boost your morale for the coming Mid Year Examinations (:
Everyone is important and precious to the class. We cannot miss out Bedok, or our funny Adel, green cherry, the girl who rows a sampan called the Little Brightstar, Jan & Jam.
